Summer Yoga happens in the Amphitheater Fridays at 10 a.m., June 3 – Aug 26, (no class on June 17). There are no rain dates, but the porch might be an alternate location for gentle rain. Yoga is an ancient practice that uses a series of seated and standing body poses held with a focus on the breath and the inner experience. Yoga is a great mood booster, increasing flexibility of mind and body. Anyone is welcome to attend because this class is open to all ages and experiences levels! Attendance can include popping in for a single class or for all of them.
~Please bring a Yoga Mat or a Towel, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, a hat & Water.~
Julie Hardison has been practicing yoga for over ten years, but began to deepen her practice over two years ago. Yoga started for her, as it does for many, as a physical practice: a chance to strengthen and stretch the body. Little by little, she discovered it can be so much more. Yoga has had such a positive domino effect on all aspects of her life. Julie completed her 200 hour training at Longwave Yoga in Wilmington. Julie looks forward to passing on the feelings of strength, possibility, peace, and gratitude that yoga brings on and off the mat.
