Student Access

All Transylvania County School students grades K-12 are able to use their student numbers to check out library materials and access our rich array of electronic resources.  With their school ID numbers, students can check out up to ten items at a time and access online resources from the links made available on the Library website.  No overdue fines will accrue on student accounts.  Please note that students cannot check out DVDs with their student numbers, and material that is lost or not returned must be paid for.

To access the Library’s online resources, students should use the last 4 digits of their student ID number as their Library PIN.

Thanks to the school system for partnering with us to ensure every child in Transylvania County is ready to read, learn, and succeed!

Requesting material from other NC Cardinal libraries as resource sharing is not available for Student Access Cards throughout NC Cardinal. There are a few online resources that are not available for Student Access Cards.  Ask any staff member for complete details.
