Americas opioid crisis has captured headlines and changed the common stereotypes around drug addiction. On average, 130 people die of an opioid overdose in this country each day. That number is expected to rise this year.
What is this crisis all about, and what is happening in Transylvania County to address this complex and troubling issue? This series is designed to help answer those questions. A Q & A session with a panel of local experts who are on the front lines will be part of each session.
