Bag Lunch Arts — Irish Tunes

Celebrate with local acapella group Blissing, a women’s trio based in Hendersonville.  They will be singing good old Irish folk tunes and telling Irish stories and jokes as well as sharing a bit of Irish history.  You’ll hear favorites such as It’s A Great Day for the Irish, Sweet Molly Malone, and McNamara’s Band.  Charlene Spinks, Diane David, and Lynn Nichols are experienced singers who have an ear for good vocal production, blend, and homespun humor.  So, put on your green, grab some shamrocks and enjoy!

Our monthly Bag Lunch Arts Series spotlights authors, artists, performers, and speakers sharing their talent and knowledge. Held on the third Tuesday of most months at 12 noon in the Rogow Family Community Room. Patrons are encouraged to bring along a bag lunch to enjoy before the program. Cookies and coffee are courtesy of the Friends of the Library. Programs last approximately one hour.
