Author Pam Blevins will present — Dora Pejačević, The Noble Rebel
Pejačević was a self-taught composer and was the first Croatian to compose a piano concerto. Her music is experiencing a re-discovery and her colorful but short life is one rich in humanity, compassion and courage. Presentation with music.
Noontime Notions programs are held one Tuesday each month at noon and will feature authors, performers, and presenters providing engaging notions for consideration, enjoyment, and discovery. The program begins at 12 noon in the Rogow Room at the Transylvania County Library and is made possible by the Friends of the Library. Won’t You Be A Friend?
