George Goyette will present — The Eastland Disaster: America’s Forgotten Tragedy
Goyette will reveal the harrowing details of the sinking of the SS Eastland in 1915 while moored in the Chicago River. With more loss of life than the sinking of the HMS Titanic a few years earlier, the Eastland sank in only 20 feet of water. Presentation with historical photos.
