Is your little one ready to expand their menu? This workshop is designed for parents of children ages 2-5 who want to help their kids explore new foods. Taught by Erin Massey, Registered Dietitian and FCS Agent with NC Cooperative Extension and Rebecca Fleming Registered Dietitian with Hendersonville Pediatrics. They will share practical, science-based strategies to make mealtimes an adventure, covering:
  • Understanding age-appropriate portion sizes.
  • Tools and techniques to encourage kids to try new foods.
  • The developmental science behind how children learn to eat.

GetSet Transylvania is a grassroots collaborative of local non-profits, government departments and offices, faith-based organizations, childcare providers, concerned community members and businesses. The shared mission is to promote lifelong learning, health and resilience in all young children in Transylvania County.
