Teen Computer Animation Course
October 7, 2017 - October 8, 2017
FREE Computer Animation Course for teens ages 13-18 is being offered on Saturdays from October 7-28, 2017. Students will register for and attend the four class course.
Beginners will meet from 10:00AM 1:00PM and advanced students will meet from 2:00PM 5:00PM. Registration is required. Call us at 884-3151 ext 3 or stop by the Youth Services desk to sign up.
The beginning and advanced level teen animation classes are taught by professional animator Vincent Warren using Maya industry grade software used in films like Pixar. In these classes the teens actually create 3D computer models and then animate them. The program combines art, math, animation, and computer programming skills. If teens are serious about it and continue on to the advanced level, they will be very well prepared to enter college courses in these areas.
The course completion includes a reception and screening of the students’ work for family and friends.
