Join us as the sun sets! Local and regional performers share their music in the Library Amphitheater. Rain location: Rogow Room at the Library.

Emerging from a music therapy background, Kyshona infuses a singer-songwriter sensibility into the traditions of roots, soul and blues.  She embraces repetitive internal rhythms that emerge in some of her songwriting — likening them to both gospel spirituals and the viscerally simplistic utterances of her former patients — and she’s delivering her roots-soul originals with articulate warmth and newly claimed authority.

The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by the Friends of the Transylvania County Library. Proceeds from Friends’ memberships and from Book Room sales help pay for all of the programming at the Library.
