The Harlem Cultural Festival of 1969 is the subject of this documentary featuring such artists as Nina Simone and the 5^th Dimension. Overlapping in time with Woodstock, the festival celebrated a rich history and soothed a community during a time of tumult. With rarely seen footage and deep-dive interviews, this film will enlighten and inform as well as entertain.
