Wont you be my neighbor?
Many of us have fond memories of curling up in front of the TV to be adopted into Mr. Rogers world. But did you also know that Mr. Rogers was a steadfast activist before congress who advocated for educational TV for children? He put it this way: Love is at the root of everything – all learning, all parenting, all relationships. Love or the lack of it. And what we see and hear on the screen is part of who we become. So on this beautiful day in the neighborhood, come celebrate who youve become with this National Library Week tribute to a well-loved, creative teacher of life.
This FREE program is made possible by the Friends of the Library.
