Living in the Mountains: Backyard Farming in the City

Sponsored by NC Cooperative Extension and the Transylvania County Library, Living in the Mountains is a five-part educational series exploring the unique challenges and opportunities of living in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

Part One: Backyard Farming in the City

Do you love fresh eggs?  Transylvania County Cooperative Extension Agents will discuss small-scale farming to produce food for you and your family.  Topics will include growing your own garden and raising livestock on small acreage.
