ecoEXPLORE Program: Ichthyology Season

October 24 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Have you ever wondered…what makes a fish, a FISH? How do they breathe so easily under the water? Why are they so slimy and hard to catch? Join us for an educational program with the North Carolina Arboretum as we tackle some of the hard questions about fish. Come ready to hear about the ecoEXPLORE program and learn all about the many different types of fish that call Western North Carolina their home (and some that don’t!).

This program is geared for ages 5 to 13, but all ages are welcome to attend.

Scientists need YOUR help in studying animals everywhere, including your own backyard! Join the crew of ecoEXPLORERS — kids who submit observations of plants and animals for scientists to study and earn prizes while they do it: https://www.ecoexplore.net.
