ecoEXPLORE Outdoor Drop-In Information Session

Does your child love to play outside? Do they ever ask you about certain names or species? Join ecoEXPLORE, an initiative of the North Carolina Arboretum, Thursday, November 5th for a drop-in information session that will run from 2:30 – 4:30 PM outside in the amphitheater of the Transylvania County Library!

EcoEXPLORE is a program for kids, 5-13 years old, designed to get them outside and use technology in a productive way – helping scientists! By taking pictures of wildlife and uploading them to ecoEXPLORE, your child can help participate in citizen science and learn about the different plants and animals they find. With every observation, your child will also earn points that can go towards cool badges and prizes! EcoEXPLORE staff will be at this drop-in event to answer any questions you may have, share updates and information about the current badges, and help anyone interested in signing up.
