Join us for this month’s Cookbook Club!
Each month we look at cookbooks, do a little cooking, and meet to talk about our experiences.
For April’s meeting, we’ll cook from How to Cook Everything: 2,000 Simple Recipes for Great Food by Mark Bittman. It is a comprehensive cookbook known for its minimalist style, focusing on simple techniques and fresh ingredients for both novice and experienced cooks. It’s considered a definitive guide to home cooking, offering a vast collection of easy-to-follow recipes with numerous variations, making it a go-to resource for building cooking confidence and understanding the fundamentals.
Registered participants can stop by the library to review the book and choose a recipe to make and share with the other participants. We’ll taste each other’s culinary creations, talk about the cookbook, share what we learned and swap recipes.
