Join us for this month’s Cookbook Club!
Each month we look at cookbooks, do a little cooking, and meet to talk about our experiences.
For August’s meeting, we’ll cook from The Blue Zones Kitchen: 100 Recipes to Live to 100 by Dan Buettner. In his debut cookbook, Buettner reveals recipes inspired by the five location around the world where people live the longest: the blue zones of Sardinia, Italy; Nicoya, Costa Rica; Ikaria, Greece; Okinawa, Japan; and Loma Linda, California.
Registered participants can stop by the library to review the book and choose a recipe to make and share with the other participants. We’ll taste each other’s culinary creations, talk about the cookbooks, share what we learned and swap recipes.
