Container Gardening: A Family Project

Container gardening is a fun family project and a great introduction to growing some of your family’s food. This type of garden doesn’t take up much space and doesn’t require a lot of work to get started. The Transylvania County Library in conjunction with North Carolina Cooperative Extension will be hosting a hands-on workshop for families to learn about container gardening. Families will learn about planting times for herbs and vegetables, plant a container garden to take home, and understand how to care for and use their new herb plants.
