Local History Librarian Marcy Thompson will spotlight local women in the early 20th century who led the way in important social reforms including the role of social women’s clubs, book clubs, and the local Business & Professional Womens Club. This program kicks off a year-long look at women you need to know more about as part of our centennial celebration of the ratification of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote.
