Stop by the library to see the All Together & Tiny Art Show! Want to participate?
Pick up your tiny art kit from the front desk beginning June 1. Make a tiny masterpiece and return your completed art work to the library for display between July 1 – 22. All tiny art will be featured at the Transylvania Community Arts Council during the 4th Friday Gallery Walk on July 28. Each Tiny Art Kit is comprised of a small canvas and a few art supplies. The only thing missing is an idea. That’s where you come in! Take the kit, add an idea, and turn it into a work of tiny art.
What should it be about?
We’re encouraging tiny art made with themes like community, kindness, and friendship.
Not sure where to start?
Write a tiny poem. Tear paper into tiny pieces for a collage. Or take a tiny photograph. Draw a tiny portrait. Keep your art contained to the canvas, and let your creative juices flow!
Pick up your art work from the library August 1 – 5, after the display.
