Adult Winter Reading

FreeSquirrel away some good books @ your library through the Adult Winter Reading program at Transylvania County Library!
Register just once by calling, coming by the Circulation Desk or going online with your library card beginning Monday, January 3, 2022. Participation is limited to Transylvania County Library patrons.
Every time you read or listen to 5 books during the winter reading dates, let us know by phone, in person or online. Your name will be entered in drawings for a chance to win prizes that include gift certificates to Second Story Book Store and local eateries, as well as other surprises. Weekly prize drawings will begin on Friday, January 21st. Complete as many entry cards as you wish over the winter and submit them by 8pm Thursday, February 24th.
The Grand Prize will be drawn on Friday, February 25, 2022! Full details are available at registration.
When the wind is blowing and you’re feeling the cold, Adult Winter Reading is a unique opportunity to hoard some books for reading enjoyment, gnaw on some new knowledge and get nutty about new worlds. Celebrate the library lover that you are and extend your tree branch to a potential cache of prizes. Why let the kids have all the fun this winter?
