Suggest a Purchase

Let us know if there is something you want us to consider adding to the library collection!

Adding an item usually takes several weeks. If a copy is available via the NC Cardinal consortium, you’ll get it quicker by placing a hold in the online catalog, rather than suggesting a purchase. Your request may be filled by a copy from another library, even if purchased. 

There are many authors that are automatically added to the collection.  Check here to discover if an author you are interested in is included.

If we purchase a book that you suggest, we will place a hold on it for you and notify you when it is available for checkout.

Just a reminder that the Library cannot purchase all suggested material. Consideration is based on the Library’s Materials Selection Policy and current budgetary constraints.
