Ukulele Circle: January – Stage & Screen

Play ukulele music with a group at our beginner-friendly monthly meetup.

Although mostly attended by adults, children aged 7 and up are welcome to attend accompanied by an adult.

February 13: Love Songs – favorite songs of romance and friendship

March 13: The ‘60s – favorite songs from the 1960s including rock, Motown, folk, and more

April 10: Traditional/Folk – favorite songs of traditional Appalachia and early America

May 8: The ‘70s – favorite songs from the 1970s including rock, disco, acoustic, and more

June 12: Beach Tunes – favorite songs about sunshine, summer, and coastal living

July 10: The ‘80s – favorite songs from the 1980s including rock, ballads, pop and more

August 14: Country/Americana – favorite songs from country and country-inspired artists

September 11: The ‘90s & ‘00s – favorite songs from the 1990s and 2000s including rock, pop, alternative, and more

October 9: Players Pick – in the Storytime Room due to FOL Annual Booksale – favorite songs from regular attendees of Ukulele Circle submitted in advance

November 13: The Beatles – favorite songs from the legendary music group The Beatles

December 11: Holiday Songs – favorite songs about winter and its holidays

Song Packets

Monthly themes/songs are chosen by staff with song packets available in advance at the Library Circulation desk. We are unable to distribute the songs electronically due to copyright restrictions.
