Paula Withrow will uncover the story of espionage from the female point of view. Throughout history and everywhere in the world, women were spying on or for their country. She will introduce some of the agencies that employed the women as well as the women, both famous and lesser known, on both sides.
Paula Withrow has a Master’s Degree in History from Colorado State University. Espionage has held a fascination for her beginning with an unsuccessful application to the CIA. She has taught courses in history at community colleges, UNCA’s OLLI, libraries, and Continued Care facilities since 2001.
