Indie Author Day

The Library invites Indie Authors to drop in at the Library on Wednesday, November 30th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm to see what resources the Library has to support local independent authors.  We’ll have some refreshments available and Library staff will be on hand to answer your questions. At 3:00 pm we’ll stream the taped panel discussion from an October 8th Indie Author event featuring industry leaders from the literary technology world, a librarian, a leader in review publications, publishing experts and writers. Jon Fine, former director of author and publisher relations for Amazon, will be the moderator, and the panelists will include Robin Cutler, director of IngramSpark; Kiera Parrott, reviews director for School Library Journal and Library Journal; Jim Blanton, director of the Louisville Free Public Library; and author L. Penelope.  Join us!
