Fireflies & More

Lynn Faust will present “Fireflies, Glow-worms, and Lightning Bugs”. Faust is a well-known expert on fireflies who played a major role in the first discovery of synchronous fireflies in North America in 1994. She has conducted extensive studies of blue ghost fireflies in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  “Fireflies, Glow-worms, and Lightning Bugs” is also the title of Faust’s recently published field guide.  Highland Books will have copies available for purchase at the event and Faust will happily sign them following the presentation.
