Jennifer Armstrong presents Low Down Way Down Underground!

Nurture a love of books and reading with Jennifer Armstrong’s stories, songs, instruments and folk toys in this lively and participatory program. Jennifer brings books to life with bagpipe, fiddle, banjo, dancing puppet and handkerchief mouse. Families will sing, clap along and dance in their seats!

Jennifer is a singer, storyteller, piper and poet living in Asheville, North Carolina. She has been a featured storyteller at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesboro; interviewed by Studs Terkel on WFMT; and by Noah Adams on NPR. She’s sung with toddlers in church basements, told stories at library story nights, has published two children’s books, recorded seven CDs, and performed at thousands of schools nationwide.
