Join us for this month’s Cookbook Club!
Each month we look at cookbooks, do a little cooking, and meet to talk about our experiences.
For May’s meeting, we’ll cook from Milk Street’s Cook What You Have: Make a Meal Out of Almost Anything by Christopher Kimball. In this book, 225 recipes begin with the most common ingredients in your kitchen, but they provide more than a lesson in practicality. They teach an improvisational, creative way to cook, so you can stop shopping and start cooking what you have.
Registered participants can stop by the library to review the book and choose a recipe to make and share with the other participants. We’ll taste each other’s culinary creations, talk about the cookbooks, share what we learned and swap recipes.
Registration opens April 16. Check back here for the registration link.
