Celebrate National Library Week!

National Library Week 2026

 The Transylvania County Library will join other libraries nationwide to celebrate National Library Week (April 19-25, 2026). The American Library Association began observing and sponsoring National Library Week in 1958 to celebrate our nation’s libraries.  Each April, all types of libraries – school, public, academic and special – participate. The Library will be having many programs this week to celebrate.  Check the event calendar for complete details.
