Learn about the history of rails-to-trails programs in the South and how they’ve changed communities.

Landscape architect David Hill has worked on numerous projects in Virginia and other locations in the Southeast, including successful rails-to-trails projects. He has partnered with historic preservation committees, charitable organizations, and communities to create designs for education, recreation, and the arts. He is the president of Hill Studios in Roanoke, Virginia.
