Suggest an item for the library collection

Please note… It takes a few weeks to order, receive and process a new item for checkout. If the item is available through the NC Cardinal consortium, you’ll get it faster by placing a hold in the online catalog instead of suggesting it here. Even if we buy the title, your request may be filled by a copy from another library in the consortium.

We automatically purchase books by many popular authors.  Check here to see if your author is on the list. 

If we do purchase your suggestion, we’ll place a hold for you and notify you when it’s ready.

Keep in mind that not all requests can be filled. Decisions are made based on the Library’s Materials Selection Policy and budgetary constraints.
