This month’s Black History offering features a pivotal time period in the life of track and field legend Jesse Owens. This inspiring film portrays Owens’ struggle to decide whether or not to compete in the Olympics held in the midst of Nazi Germany while not shying away from the complexities and ironies of racism in the US during the same time period.
