DESCRIPTION:The event will feature a family-friendly presentation by Appalachian Wildlife Refuge at 5:30 p.m.\, highlighting the importance of wildlife conservation. Appalachian Wildlife Refuge Board Director\, Elaine Bailey Anderson will share the organization’s history\, how Appalachian Wildlife Refuge saves wild lives and dive into one of their common patients\, the box turtle. \nWhile you’re here\, climb aboard the Transylvania Co. Library Bookmobile\, a library branch on wheels containing approximately 3600 frequently changed items for both adults and children. All you need is a library card! Patrons can register for a free library card on the bookmobile with the proper ID. \nAttendees will also have a chance to tour the new space\, explore potential partnership opportunities and learn more about reserving The NEST for their own programs and events. \nThe event is free\, advance registration is requested.
