The Transylvania County Library offers four event spaces for use by organizations and individuals. In order to reserve a meeting space, please read and sign the policy for that space, complete the application form, and submit payment if required. The Rogow Family Community Room is a large conference room that holds up to 250 individuals and features the latest audio-visual equipment needed to conduct a successful meeting or event. The Rogow Room can be divided into two separate rooms, each with its own separate A/V systems with each able to accommodate 85 people. A kitchen and a variety of chairs and tables are also available.
The Amphitheater offers a way to enjoy the beautiful Western North Carolina weather during your scheduled event. The amphitheater can accommodate up to 625 audience members and has a large, raised stage. Electric outlets, stage lights, and stair lights make the space customizable for a variety of outdoor events including concerts, poetry readings, and other community events.
The Connestee Conference Room is a smaller option for meetings. The space features a meeting table which seats 12 and two large whiteboards. It is located on the second-floor of the library. Other meeting equipment, such as laptops and projectors, may be available if requested at the time of your application. If the Connestee Conference Room is not reserved, it may be used on a first-come-first-served basis.
The College Walk Group Study Room is a great place for small study groups and student tutoring. The room is located across from the Youth Services Desk on the main floor of the library. There is space for up to 6 individuals. Individuals may reserve the room up to 1 week in advance for 1 hour increments. If it is not reserved, it may be used on a first-come-first-served basis.
