NCHE North Carolinians for Home Education (NCHE) has supported NC homeschoolers since 1984. Their website is a cache of information about curriculum, FAQs, guidelines, and resources. Tutor.com provides on-demand online tutoring, homework help, test preparation, and writing assistance for K-12 students, college students, and adult learners in over 60 subjects. No appointment is needed. Tutors are available 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm every day. Spanish speaking tutors are also available for certain subjects. Login with your library card number and PIN from any computer or mobile device with an Internet connection.
Wondermind Explore the brain! Wondermind introduces kids to concepts in neuroscience through four Alice-in-wonderland themed games. Kids ages 8-12 who are curious about how the brain works will find much of interest here.
