Dive into the latest bestseller on climate change\, dissect a historical analysis of a global conflict\, or explore the social fabric of a distant land – all through the lens of engaging literature.  Vibrant group discussions foster understanding\, challenge perspectives\, and spark lively debate. DESCRIPTION:The Bookmobile will be at this location and available to the public at this time. Stop by and check out your next read!\nTransylvania Vocational Services: 11 Mountain Industrial Dr\, Brevard\, NC 28712\nDriving on highways and back country roads from Penrose to Sapphire\, we strive to serve all corners of Transylvania County. Bookmobile stops are made at child care centers\, senior centers\, outlying community centers and post offices. Home bound patrons are also visited upon request. The bookmobile is a public library branch on wheels containing approximately 3600 frequently changed items for both adults and children. Books checked out on the Bookmobile are free. All you need is a library card! Patrons can register for a free library card on the bookmobile with the proper ID. Books checked out from the bookmobile can be returned to the main library. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a casual\, drop-in get-together as we work to repair favorite clothing items in need of a little TLC. Bring an item that requires fixing for guidance – from worn-out socks and sweaters to torn jeans and non-clothing repairs. Shiloh Broadway\, our handy and creative facilitator\, will help guide us through the process of mending old garments and preventing them from ending up in the landfill. Supplies for this event are provided by Newfound Artisan. \nThis program is free and registration is not required.
