SUMMARY:Teen Computer Animation Courses
DESCRIPTION:FREE Computer Animation Courses for teens ages 13-18 are being offered on Saturdays February 16\, 23\, and March 2\, 2019. Students will register for and attend all three classes.\n \nBeginners will meet from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and advanced students who have taken this class before will meet from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Registration is required. Call us at 884-3151 ext 3 or stop by the Youth Services desk to sign up.\n \nThe beginning and advanced level teen animation classes are taught by professional animator Vincent Warren using Maya – industry grade software used in films by Pixar. In these classes the teens actually create 3D computer models and then animate them. The program combines art\, math\, animation\, and computer programming skills. If teens are serious about animation and continue on to the advanced level\, they will be very well prepared to enter college courses in these areas.\n \nThe course completion includes a reception and screening of the students’ work for family and friends.
