DESCRIPTION:2018 Raving Readerz Book Club\n\n\nOur Raving Readerz Book Club is for strong independent readers who are always looking for the next good book. We read a variety of genres and look forward to lively discussion every other month. Anyone who is interested in and capable of reading the books on our list is welcome to join this group. You don’t have to commit to reading all the book selections – only the books you are interested in reading. And if you can’t make it to every meeting\, that’s okay\, too. Pick up the month’s featured book a few weeks before the book club date and be ready to meet\, celebrate and discuss the books by the meeting date. Raving Readerz meet on select Thursdays (except August\, which is on a Friday) throughout the year from 4:00pm – 5:00pm in the Youth Services Area. \nThe 2018 Raving Readerz Book Club schedule is as follows: \nFebruary 15: The Sign of the Beaver by Elizabeth George Speare \n \nApril 12: Finding Buck McHenry by Alfred Slote \n \nJune 14: The Tale of Despereaux: Being the Story of a Mouse\, a Princess\, Some Soup\, and a Spool of Thread by Kate DiCamillo \n \nAugust 17: Masterpiece by Elise Broach \n \nOctober 18: The Anybodies by N. E. Bode \n \nDecember 13: Zita the Spacegirl by Ben Hatke (graphic novel) AND end of the year party!
