DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by NC Cooperative Extension and the Transylvania County Library\, Living in the Mountains is a five-part educational series exploring the unique challenges and opportunities of living in the mountains of Western North Carolina. \nPart Three: Planning & Planting for Erosion\nSooner or later\, gravity catches up with everything\, and that could include your soil if you’re not careful! Here in Transylvania County\, soil is actually the major contaminant in our local rivers and streams\, and there is something you can do about it!
