SUMMARY:I Am Evidence
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a screening of Mariska Hargitay’s 2018 documentary entitled I Am Evidence on Monday\, April 15th at 6:00 pm.  This film examines the backlog of untested rape kits in the United States today.  I Am Evidence follows stories of survivors who have waited years for their kits to be tested\, as well as the law enforcement officials who are leading the charge to work through the backlog and pursue long-awaited justice in these cases.  The film will be followed by a short discussion.\n2018 (NR) 85 min. \nThis program is co-sponsored by the Library and SAFE Inc. of Transylvania County.
