DESCRIPTION:Introducing: Field Trips for Grownups!  Get behind-the-scenes tours of the places – and meet the people – who help our community thrive!  These events are for folks 18+.  We’ll walk around and see the sites\, ask all our burning questions\, and make friends with community helpers.  Registration is required as space is limited. \nThird stop: The Election Center\nWhen: Wednesday\, April 29 •  1:00-2:00 pm \nWhere: Meet there: 150 S. Gaston Street\, Brevard **Please note: we are not providing transportation; meet there!** \nJoin us for a tour of the Transylvania County Election Center!  We’ll learn about election planning\, preparation and administration\, logistics\, maintenance and security of equipment\, and much more.  We’ll “follow the vote” from ballot to certification and check out some demo voting machines.
