SUMMARY:Field Trips for Grownups: the Water Treatment Facility
DESCRIPTION:Introducing: Field Trips for Grownups!  Get behind-the-scenes tours of the places – and meet the people – who help our community thrive!  These events are for folks 18+.  We’ll walk around and see the sites\, ask all our burning questions\, and make friends with community helpers.  Registration is required as space is limited. \nSecond stop: the Water Treatment Facility\, aka: “Go with the Flow”  **This field trip is full.  Please click below to add your name to the waitlist.**\nWhen: Wednesday\, July 31 •  1:00-3:30 pm \nJoin us for a tour of the Catheys Creek Water Treatment Facility!  The facility was constructed in 1980 and has the capacity to treat up to 2.6 million gallons of water each day.  We’ll learn about the history of the plant\, talk about flow numbers and the distribution system.  We’ll tour the facility and learn about the specialized equipment and processes needed for assuring a safe and adequate supply of drinking water for our community. \n \nThird stop: the Hospital  •  Wednesday\, August 7  •  1:00 pm \n
