DESCRIPTION:Songs From The Road Band\nJoin us as the sun sets! Local and regional performers share their music in the Library Amphitheater. Rain location: Rogow Room at the Library. \nSongs From The Road Band is a North Carolina-based quartet featuring Mark Schimick\, Charles Humphrey\, Sam Wharton\, and James Schlender. Collectively\, they have received top accolades in the bluegrass\, Americana\, and jazz genres. The band is currently touring in support of their fourth studio album\, Road To Nowhere\, and will get the Fall Outdoor Concert Series underway on August 30. \nThe Fall Concert Series is sponsored by the Friends of the Transylvania County Library. Proceeds from Friends’ memberships and from Book Room sales help pay for all of the programming at the Library.
