SUMMARY:Bag Lunch Arts
DESCRIPTION:Our monthly Bag Lunch Arts Series spotlights authors\, artists\, performers\, and speakers sharing their talent and knowledge.  Held on the third Tuesday of most months at 12 noon in the Rogow Family Community Room.  Patrons are encouraged to bring along a bag lunch to enjoy before the program. Cookies and coffee or cider are courtesy of the Friends of the Library. Programs last approximately one hour. \nTuesday\, July 19 — “The Songs I Had…Composers in The First World War” presented by Pam Blevins. \nTuesday\, August 9 – BAG LUNCH EXTRA — “Come Hell or High Water: Remembering the 1916 Flood” with filmmaker David Weintraub. \nTuesday\, August  16 – “Vanderbilt’s Forest” presented by Bill Alexander\, Landscape and Forest Historian for the Biltmore Estate. \nTuesday\, September 20 — “Exploring the Wonderful Waterfalls of WNC” with author and photographer Kevin Adams. \nTuesday\, October 18 — possibly no program due to voting in the Rogow Room
