SUMMARY:An Evening with Carole & Jeffery Boston Weatherford
DESCRIPTION:Author Carole Boston Weatherford and illustrator Jeffery Boston Weatherford will present “The Power of Children’s Literature: Building Comprehension Skills to Empower All Readers” at the Francis Pavilion at the Porter Center at Brevard College on Tuesday\, April 4\, 2023. The presentation and reception will begin at 6:30 pm. \nThis program is supported by Brevard College Teacher Education and The Augustine Literacy Project of Brevard. This event is rescheduled from November 2022. \nThe Friends of Transylvania County Library sponsored a visit to the library from the the Weatherfords in December 2022\, where they spoke to the county’s fifth grade classes. They are returning to Transylvania County in April for a program geared towards adults.
