DESCRIPTION:Hats off to Reading @ your library through the Adult Summer Reading program at Transylvania County Library!\nRegister just once by calling\, coming by the Circulation Desk or going online with your library card beginning Monday\, June 7\, 2021. \nEvery time you read or listen to 5 books during the summer reading dates\, let us know by phone\, in person or online. Your name will be entered in drawings for a chance to win prizes that include gift certificates to Second Story Book Store and local eateries\, as well as other surprises.  Weekly prize drawings will begin on Friday\, June 25\, 2021. Complete as many entries as you wish during the summer reading dates and submit them by 5pm Thursday\, August 5\, 2021. \nThe Grand Prize will be drawn on Friday\, August 6\, 2021!  Adult Summer Reading is a unique opportunity to give a nod to books for pleasure\, wave a greeting to new knowledge and tip your cap to the joy of exploring new worlds.
