DESCRIPTION:As of October 4\, 2024\, all library programming is suspended until further notice.\nTuesday\, October 8 • 11:00 am – 3:00 pm • drop-in \non the 2nd floor of the Library \nJoin us for a celebration of local food & culture for Family History Month! \nTry historical food samples\, listen to local music\, identify mystery photos\, and share traditional family recipes. \nConnect with others providing local history resources in our community. \nWe’ll have samples of ginger bread and other historic recipes of Transylvania. Recordings of local musicians will play as we view old photographs from the collection that are unidentified\, and attendees will have the opportunity to take home copies of historic recipes\, or share their own to be added to the archives. \n  \nHosted by the Rowell Bosse North Carolina Room
