Reference Services

We are here to answer your questions! The Reference Desk is located just beyond the public computers. Staff members are available to provide reference assistance during all hours the Library is open. The reference staff is also available by phone at 884-3151 ext. 4. The reference book collection contains approximately 4000 titles, from multi-volume general encyclopedias to specialized dictionaries and directories.  The Library has public WiFi — as well as Mobile Printing!  Questions?  Just Ask.  We are here to help.

More than 60 online electronic databases are available as part of  NC LIVE. Patrons can access these databases at the Library by using the library‚Äôs public computers and wireless connection or remotely from home. Remote access to NC LIVE resources requires a valid library card number. NC LIVE offers online access to complete articles from more than 9,000 newspapers, journals, and magazines. The Library also subscribes to over 60 print magazines and newspapers, covering a wide variety of subjects and interests as well as over 50 online periodicals through Flipster.
